What is the CEFR?

The Common European Framework of Reference for languages: learning, teaching, evaluation​ (CEFR)​ is a European standard, also used in other countries , which is used to measure the level of comprehension, and oral and written expression in a certain language.

How much time do I need to take each English degree?

Students usually need an average of 200 hours of study for each level. However, we work at the student's pace, but, "without resting on our laurels ".

Grammar

  • use "reported speech"

  • use all 4 forms of conditional sentences

  • use comparative and superlative phrases with adverbs of degree

During this level the student should be able to:

  • explain, with confidence, what is happening in a picture, describing the clothes, the appearance of a person, the activity that person is doing and should be able to express their opinion of that activity using a variety of grammar that they have studied

  • Answer and give an opinion on all the vocabulary topics studied.

  • argue and reach an agreement on a specific topic with a partner of the same level of learning

  • give detailed information on all of the topics studied

  • listen to notifications and select the correct information that corresponds, choosing between 3 possible options

  • listen to a conversation between two people and be able to decide false and true information about the conversation

  • listen to announcements and be able to find prices, schedules or other information requested in the exam.

  • listen to a long interview and answer questions in a row about that interview
